First introduced by the company in the late 1950s, they became the standard single deck chassis from then up to assimilation with NBC. The first batches had Weymann bodies, followed by examples by Park Royal, Marshall and Willowbrook. The images below include examples that were taken after integration with NBC. Many of the Reliances worked on into the 70s in maroon & cream, particularly the 1st generation batches which were withdrawn by 1973.
